So we ended up with Sylvie here. We picked her up yesterday. Maybe my other dogs were easy, little Sylvie here is a bundle of busy. I read I should have her sleep in the crate in our room at first because she just left her pupper family. But I had to sleep on the floor next to the crate. Next goal is to have her sleep in the crate with my in my bed! I am off work until early May, no big shows until then and I worked a lot up to this point this year. I even went to help at the Google show last week because the union asked me to. We are at peak puppy, she knows nothing.

I’m in the same boat! Since I can’t take Ravna to dog parks yet (she’s still got kennel cough) and my own illness prevents me from running her, she’s requiring about 3 hrs of active stimulation a day (plus lots of playing with her toys). My life right now is pretty much eat, work, doggo, sleep.
Despite all that, I’m doing a lot better emotionally than I was in the weeks before I had her. So it’s definitely worth it. But man am I looking forward to her getting over the cough so I can take her to dog parks.

We have some lawns around here and she is so small it doesn’t take a lot of laps. I tried to show her the neighborhood so she starts to have an idea.
